The Women's Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA) Forum Meeting is a committee of certified WBEs (local WBEA members and joint members). This committee meets once a month to allow the voice of WBEA members to be heard.
Each month the Forum hosts an educational session called "Straight Talk". As a part of the Forum meeting the WBEA invites a local corporate member to educate WBEs on how to do business with their company. This "Straight Talk" is open to any WBE that is certified through a Regional Partner Organization of WBENC, not just local WBEA members.
This month the Forum welcomes Continental and United Airlines. Learn more about Continental and United Airlines’ commitment to supplier diversity and what they look for in a qualified supplier. Discover more about how you can prepare your company to do business with them.
After the 45 minute presentation given by Continental and United Airlines, the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA) members are invited to participate in the Forum Meeting discussion. WBEA members will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to other WBEs and the speakers. If you are NOT a WBEA member, meaning you did not receive your certification from the WBEA or you have not paid joint membership dues ($125), you will not be able to participate in the networking session after the presentation.
After the introductions, WBEA members will have the opportunity to discuss business challenges, issues, and successes. The discussion is meant to help WBEs learn and grow from each other's experiences.
After you register, if you are a WBEA member I will contact you with instructions on how to participate in the Forum introduction and give you more information about the discussion session after the "Straight Talk".
I look forward to connecting with you,
Sue Pistone
WBEA Forum Chair
